Dr. Trevor Walker, DVM

Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Trevor Walker attended high school in Fort Walton Beach, Florida where he met his wife. In high school, he was active in JROTC, soccer and an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts. Dr. Walker enlisted in the US Marine Corps right out of high school, and served in the infantry for six years and completing four tours overseas before being assigned as a recruiter in Birmingham, Alabama for two years.
After leaving the Marines, Dr. Walker enrolled at the University of West Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While at UWF he worked at the Humane Society of Pensacola as a kennel technician. Dr. Walker is a graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine and has additional specialty certificates in Veterinary Business Management and Shelter Medicine.
Dr. Walker’s special interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, dentistry, soft tissue surgery and behavior. Dr. Walker enjoys scuba diving, camping, obstacle course racing and having adventures with his family. His beautiful wife, Jackie, is a teacher and crafter and they have four children: Paul, Skylar, Abigail and Orion. The family is joined by their German Wirehaired pointer Zev, Great Dane Mavis, and 2 bunnies (Bun Bun and Rex).
